Your objective in this business is to assist people through the process of buying or selling homes. The way you accomplish this is by utilizing various prospecting systems that develop potential leads. Your business can come from people you already know or from complete strangers. You will be trained in all aspects of prospecting and sales and will be able to create a career that will be long lasting.

What are the key attributes of a successful sales person?

1. They are self motivated and can work independently. Flexible hours are a wonderful benefit but lack of structure can also be your downfall.

2. They are effective communicators. A successful agent is a good listener and they are able to build rapport and gain the trust of their customers.

3. The ability to handle the word no. You will inevitably be in a situation that you offer to provide real estate services and the customer says no. This rejection cannot paralyze you.

4. Strong ego drive, a confident attitude and a need to succeed.

What type of training do I need and what does Champion Realty offer?

In addition to the
Pre-Licensing Course, a successful agent will always keep training issues in mind. At Champion Realty we enroll you in our two-week Sales Mastery Class, which provides the solid foundation for your career. We then invest in your career by providing a FREE Six-Month Mentorship Program; an experienced professional to assist you in your presentations, contracts, etc. without cost to the agent.

In addition, there are always Monthly Continuing Education Classes, Computer Training and 52 Weekly Training Sessions provided at both company and office levels.

Our training and coaching doesn’t stop. We also provide you with a Personalized Business Plan, outlining your goals, and a Personal Marketing Plan as the blueprint for achieving that goal.

How much money can I really make?

This really depends on you. Agent are paid on a commission basis. If the idea of being paid what your worth appeals to you, then real estate is your choice. Most hard-working agents can meet or exceed their required income needs their first year.

How long will it take to get paid?

With our structured business and marketing plans, you should be able to start making money within two months. Individual income issues should always be discussed with your Champion manager.

Sounds good, how do I get started?

The first step is to meet with one of our representatives or managers and sign up for the pre-licensing class in the Principles and Practices of Real Estate. This is a 60-hour class that provides the tools to pass the required state-licensing exam. Prior to taking the exam, you must successfully pass our course and complete the required hours.

What does it really cost to get started?

We estimate the start-up expenses to be approximately $1500. Some of these expenses include membership in the Local, State and National Association of Realtors, Licensing fees, Multiple Listing fees, Errors and Omissions Insurance, etc. Your broker will elaborate on what fees are due and when.

Are there recurring costs?

Like running any business there are associated costs and real estate is no exception. Every year you will have similar recurring fees as those above. In addition, there will be other self-promotion expenses that you could incur.
